Lady Vol Hoops Media Day

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - With the 2016-17 season just around the corner, the Tennessee women's basketball team held its annual media day Thursday afternoon.
Fifth-year head coach Holly Warlick, senior Jordan Reynolds and redshirt junior Diamond DeShields got things started with a press conference at the Ray and Lucy Hand Digital Studio.
Afterward, players and coaches took part in a one-hour media interview session at Thompson-Boling Arena, followed by an open viewing period of practice for local media.
The Lady Vols play their lone exhibition game on Nov. 7, as Carson-Newman comes to town for a 7 p.m. contest. UT opens the regular season on the road at James Madison at 7 p.m. on Nov. 11 and plays its home opener at 2 p.m. on Nov. 13, welcoming Navy to Thompson-Boling Arena.
