Tennessee Honors Spring Graduates

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- It's commencement week at the University of Tennessee and dozens of UT student athletes are in action securing the greatest achievement of their Big Orange careers: graduation.
The Thornton Center honored the 49 Vols and Lady Vols, as well as eight more summer graduates, that are crossing the stage to accept their diploma -- all the while donning the white 'student athlete' graduation stole -- with a special reception at Smokey's Sports Grill on Thursday at the Anderson Training Complex.
UT's graduating student athletes and their families were treated to an afternoon of food and fellowship in order to honor their commitment to academic achievement and to lifting Tennessee athletics to new heights during their time on Rocky Top.
