SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The 2014 USA Track and Field Championships are currently underway in Sacramento, California. Tennessee has three current athletes along with newly-named Director of Track & Field Beth Alford-Sullivan on location for this year's competition.
Rising senior Tavis Bailey was in action tonight in the men's discus final. He threw a distance of 190 feet (57.93m) to place 11th in competition.
Cassie Wertman competed in the women's shot put on Wednesday evening throwing 16.16m.
The weekend closes for Tennessee on Sunday with Jake Blankenship in the men's pole vault at 2:30 ET / 11:30 a.m. PT.
