THE SERIES

Vanderbilt's win moves Tennessee's all-time lead in the series to 113-71, dating the start in 1922.

Tennessee's 113 wins over the Commodores are the most by the Vols over any opponent, and only Kentucky (217) has been an opponent of the Vols more times than Vanderbilt (184).

Tennessee owns a 28-42 all-time record at VU's Memorial Gym. That includes a 24-40 mark against Vanderbilt.

The Vols had won three straight games in the series and Cuonzo Martin is now 3-2 vs. Kevin Stallings entering the game.

DOUBLE-DOUBLE MACHINE

Jarnell Stokes had 11 points and 13 rebounds for his fourth consecutive double-double.

Stokes now has 13 double-doubles on the season. That equals the 17th-most in a season at Tennessee with Rob Jones (1984-85).

It was Stokes' 31st career double-double, moving him into a tie with Reggie Johnson (1976-80) for sixth all-time at Tennessee. Next on the list with 32 is Dalen Showalter from 1957-60.

JORDY DOING HIS THING

Leading scorer Jordan McRae led the Vols in scoring for the 19th time this season and 56th time in 99 career games with 16.

McRae has led the team in scoring 15 times this season and 33 times in his career.

RICHARDSON'S SCORING STRETCH

Junior Josh Richardson tallied 14 points for his third consecutive game in double-figures.

On the season, Richardson has 13 games in double-figures. For his career, he has 23 games with 10-plus points.

TENNESSEE SCORERS: FORST HALF

The Vols shot 10 of 25 (40 percent) from the floor in the first half, including 4 of 11 from the 3-point line (36 percent).

Six players scored for the Vols. Jordan McRae and Antonio Barton led the team with six points each.

McRae brought the Vols within four points at 30-26 on a 3-pointer by Josh Richardson, but the Vols did not score for the final 4:43 of the first half.
