THE SERIES

Sunday's game marked the 59th all-time meeting between the two programs.

With the loss, Tennessee falls to 49-10 in the all-time series against Kentucky.

In Knoxville, the Lady Vols are now 22-3 in the series.

UK's win is its first in Knoxville since Jan. 23, 1985. It was also their first in Thompson-Boling arena.

The loss ends Tennessee's six game win streak.

FOR STARTERS

Today's starters: junior Cierra Burdick, sophomore Bashaara Graves, junior Isabelle Harrison, redshirt freshman Andraya Carter and senior Meighan Simmons.

It was the sixth-straight game Tennessee has utilized the lineup, and the Lady Vols are now 5-1 with the quintet.

Tennessee won the tip for the 23nd time this season.

Harrison scored the Lady Vols' first basket, a jumper with 19:43 on the clock. It's the 12th time this season that the junior has scored UT's first points.

Jasmine Jones was first off the bench for Tennessee, the 10th time this season the sophomore has been called upon first.

Junior point guard Ariel Massengale was on the bench for the first time since the first half of the Florida game on Jan. 23. She suffered a facial injury during that game and missed Texas A&M (Jan. 26), Arkansas (Jan. 30), Alabama (Feb. 2), Ole Miss (Feb. 6) and Vanderbilt (Feb. 10).

"LIVE PINK,BLEED ORANGE"

Prior to tipoff, head coach Holly Warlick presented former Lady Vol Suzanne Barbre Singleton the game ball. Singleton is battling breast cancer and played on Pat Summitt's first four teams at UT from 1974-78. She was also a teammate of Holly Warlick from 1977-78.

Longtime reporter covering the Lady Vols and breast cancer survivor Maria Cornelius was also presented a pink game ball.

Holly Warlick and LSU head coach Nikki Caldwell began the organization "Championships for a Cause" to help raise money and bring awareness to the fight against breast cancer.

NINE MILLION FANS

With 15,664 in attendance on Sunday, Tennessee surpassed the 9 million mark in attendance for all games in program history.

The crowd was the biggest in Thompson-Boling Arena since Feb. 26, 2012 when UT played Florida on senior day of the 2011-12 season in front of 18,563 fans.

DOUBLE-DOUBLE HARRISON

Junior Isabelle Harrison scored 20 points against Kentucky, marking her 19th-straight game hitting double figures.

The Nashville native has notched double digits in 23 of UT's 25 games this season.

With 16 rebounds, Harrison recorded her 12th double-double of the year and 18th in her career.

HITTING DOUBLE FIGURES

The Lady Vols had three players in double figures: Isabelle Harrison (20), Bashaara Graves (20), Meighan Simmons (13).

Tennessee has had three or more players score in double digits in every game this season.

GRAVES DOUBLING UP

Sophomore Bashaara Graves notched 20 points, marking the 12th time she has hit double figures this season, and 41st of her career.

The Clarksville, Tenn. native notched 20 or more points for the second time this season, and fourth time of her career. She also had 23 points against Georgia Tech on Nov. 17 this season.

SEEING 20-20

For the first time this season, Tennessee had two players score 20 or more points in a game as Bashaara Graves and Isabelle Harrison each netted 20.

The last time Tennessee achieved that mark was Jan. 24, 2013 at Vanderbilt. Taber Spani tallied 24 while Meighan Simmons netted 23.

ONE FROM THREE

Meighan Simmons' lone three-pointer marked the third time this season Tennessee has sank just one trey.

The Lady Vols knocked down just one three-pointer also at Mississippi State (Jan. 16) and at Texas A&M (Jan. 26).

AT THE HALF

Tennessee trailed, 38-34, heading into the locker room. It was the fifth time this season the Lady Vols have been behind at the halfway mark.

Kentucky was outrebounding UT, 19-17, and Isabelle Harrison led the team with six boards.

Harrison also had a team-best 12 points in the first 20 minutes of action.

Tennessee returns to action on Thursday when the Lady Vols take on Auburn in a 7 p.m. ET contest.
