THE BASICS

Tennessee is now 15-10 overall and 6-6 in the Southeastern Conference, while Missouri is 18-7 overall and also 6-6 in SEC play.

This was the eighth game in the series with Missouri holding a 5-3 lead.

Missouri is a perfect 3-0 against the Vols in Columbia, winning the two previous match ups in 1984 and 1962 .

The Vols had won the last two meeting in the series, including last year's 64-62 Tennessee victory in Knoxville -- the first between the teams as conference opponents.

The Vols are now 8-2 in games following a loss.

FOR STARTERS

 Today's starters were guard Jordan McRae, guard Josh Richardson, guard Darius Thompson, forward Jeronne Maymon, forward Jarnell Stokes.
 Stokes made his 66th consecutive start, dating to February of 2012.
.  It was the sixth start in a row for freshman point guard Darius Thompson.
 Jarnell Stokes knocked down Tennessee's first bucket of the game for the second game in a row on a jumper 1:07 into the game.

McRAE FILLS IT UP AGAIN

Senior guard Jordan McRae finished with 31 points on 10-of-23 shooting.

It's McRae's 22nd double-digit performance of the season and his sixth straight.

McRae has scored in double-figures in 59 of his 102 career games.

With 31 points, McRae scored 20 or more for the 13th time this season and 25th time in his career. It was his second 30-point game this season and fourth of his career.

McRae moved to 22nd on the career scoring list, passing Scotty Hopson (1,305) and Isiah Victor (1,304) and Herman Thompson (1,319) in the game. McRae now has 1,320 in his career.

RICHARDSON CONTINUES HOTS STRETCH

Josh Richardson scored in double-figures for the fifth time in six games with 16 points.

He now has 15 games this season and 25 in his career in double-figures.

YOU TAKE IT, NO YOU TAKE

The game at Missouri, featured 10 lead changes.

Tennessee's win over Arkansas featured 15 lead changes in the 81-74 victory on Jan. 22.

The Vols also had 14 lead changes in a loss at Wichita State (Dec. 14) and a win over Tennessee Tech (Dec. 7).
