Paisley Earns European Tour Card

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The past week saw 27 golfers earn their European Tour cards. Find out how two former Vols faired in the European Tour Q-School Final Qualifying Stage here.
Two former Vols, Chris Paisley and Garrick Porteous, competed in the final stage of the European Tour Q-School Qualifying at PGA Catalunya Resort (November 15-20).
Paisley was one of the 27 golfers to earn their European Tour card. The 2008-09 Tennessee team captain carded rounds of 70-69-68-70-69-74 to finish 8-under par. Paisley's tour card will allow him to compete in The 2015 Race to Dubai.
Porteous finished tied for 75th and failed to earn his card. The 2011-12 Tennessee team captain shot an 8-over par 80 during the first round and was never able to recover. He posted rounds of 80-64-69-69-72-79 to finish 5-over par.
Mikko Korhonen of Finland was victorious during the final stage after posting rounds of 72-65-65-71-68-67 to finish 20-under par.
