• This marks the first time Tennessee has ever opened SEC play by facing LSU.• Tennessee has won five of its last six regular-season SEC road games.
• Tennessee leads the series with LSU, 62-43
• The series tie was broken in Baton Rouge with the Vols leading 25-24

• The Vols held LSU to just 50 points, the second-lowest point total of the season (Xavier 49)

• In the 2013-14 season the Vols earned their first road win on Jan. 7, 2014 at LSU (68-50) after starting the year 0-2 in road games.
LARGEST ROAD WIN UNDER MARTIN
• The 18-point margin of victory tonight is the largest road win under Cuonzo Martin.• Martin's previous high was a 12-point win at Vandy, 58-46 on Feb. 13, 2013
• The win marks the Vols largest road victory since a 80-56 (24 points) thrashing of South Carolina on January 12, 2008.

• Jarnell Stokes and LSU's Johnny O'Bryant now have 25 and 20 career double-doubles, respectively, to rank first and second among all active SEC players. (O'Bryant 11 points, 7 rebs tonight)• Stokes finished the game vs. LSU with his seventh double-double of the season registering 15 points and 15 rebounds
• The 15 rebounds were the second time this season that Stokes has hit the 15 rebound plateau and the fourth career game with 15+ rebounds

• Last season vs. LSU, Jordan McRae went off for a career-high 34 points• While he didn't score as many this game, McRae finished with a game-high 19 points vs. the Tigers on the road
TURNOVER BATTLE CONTINUES
• Only three teams in Division I average fewer turnovers per game than Tennessee (9.2 tpg).• Tennessee leads the SEC with a 1.5 assist/turnover ratio. The Vols rank second in turnover margin (+3.1) and offensive rebounding (15.2 orpg).
• Tonight at LSU the Vols notched 16 turnovers vs. the Tigers, the most of the 2013-14 season
AT THE HALF
• The Vols recorded at least 38 points at the half for the fourth straight game• The 14 point halftime was the largest in a road game for the Vols under Cuonzo Martin (previous was 12 at Vandy last year, 40-28)
• The 14-point halftime lead was also the largest for the Vols in a road game since being +17 at South Carolina on March 3, 2011 (40-23, won 73-69)
• Tennessee finished the half on a 13-4 run
