With a steady rain falling all night, Tennessee was tied or in the lead against No. 3 Vanderbilt the entire game only to see a walk-off single by Spencer Navin give the Commodores a 4-3 win in 12 innings on Friday at Hawkins Field.

Tennessee got seven strong innings from Nick Williams but a five-run eighth inning lifted No. 3 Vanderbilt to an 8-3 series-clinching win. The Vols stranded nine men in scoring position and committed three errors on the night.
