WIN STREAK ENDS

The Vols saw their six-game win streak come to an end. It was their longest win streak in the Cuonzo Martin era at Tennessee.

Tennessee had the second-longest active win streak (6) among teams from the six "major" conferences, trailing only Georgetown (10).

The six-game win streak was the longest for the Vols since winning seven games in a row to begin the 2010-11 season.

The last time the Vols won six or more SEC games in row was in 2007-08, when Tennessee ripped off eight conference wins in a row from Jan. 26-Feb. 20, 2008.

TENNESSEE TIDBITS

Tennessee leads the all-time series, 93-55, with Georgia holding a 36-33 lead in games played in Athens.

The Vols have won six of their last nine games played in Athens, dating to 2005.

JORDAN'S MAC DADDY STREAK

Playing in his homestate, Jordan McRae continued his torrid streak with a career-high 35 points.

McRae's 35 points were the most by a Vol since Chris Lofton also had 35 points vs. Texas on Dec. 23, 2006.

McRae made a career-high eight 3-pointers, tying for the second-most in a game in UT history. The record of nine was set by Lofton on Feb. 11, 2006 -- also at Georgia. McRae ties the mark of eight by Lofton on Nov. 27, 2006 vs. North Carolina A&T and Allan Houston's eight vs. Fordham on Dec. 29, 1989.

McRae is averaging 22.1 in his last seven games. In his last four games, McRae is averaging 29.8 points.

McRae has scored in double-figures in 20 games this season including the last six in a row and seven of the last eight.

McRae has now scored 20 points in nine games this season and 11 times in his career.

McRae has scored 25 or more points six times this season.

McRae has scored 30 points in two of his last four games.

HALL IN DOUBLE-FIGURES

Kenny Hall had his best scoring game in a month with 10, since he scored 14 at Arkansas (Feb. 2). It was Hall's sixth game in double-figures this season and 17th in his career.

DEFENSE CAUSING DROUGHTS

The Vols kept Georgia off the scoreboard for the game's first 4:17. It was the longest shutout streak for the Vols this season on the road and second longest of the season. In the home win over Vanderbilt (1/29/13), the Commodores were blanked for the first 6:47 of the game.
