Academic Honors For Cross Country

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The University of Tennessee women's cross country team has been recognized for its effort in the classroom, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced Monday.
The Lady Vols, led by J.J. Clark, were named a USTFCCCA 2011 Division I Cross Country All-Academic Team. They were among 205 institutions around the country so honored for having a team grade point average of 3.00 or better and starting at least five runners at their respective NCAA regional meets.
The Lady Vols, who earned distinction for the fifth consecutive season, possess a 3.24 cumulative team GPA.
