Moravcikova Competes at World University Games

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -Tennessee Lady Vol Martina Moravcikova competed in the 200m free for her home country of the Czech Republic on Tuesday at the 2011 World University Games in Shenzhen, China.

A native of Prague, Czech Republic, Moravcikova swam a time of 2:37.60 in the 200 breast to notch 22nd in the event prelims. She also was a member of the Czech 4x100 free relay squad that finished 12th in 3:52.02, swimming a split time of 59.19 seconds

Jenny Connolly, who is a member of Team U.S.A., will make her World University Games debut Wednesday in the 100 back. She will also be in action Thursday for the women's 50m back.
