Team Honors For Track & Field

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- For their work in the classroom, the Tennessee Lady Vols once again have been selected as a USTFCCCA Division I All-Academic Track & Field Team, the organization announced from its headquarters in New Orleans.
The UT women, who last week had an SEC-leading 10 members of the squad who individually were accorded USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field status, were collectively recognized for producing a 3.22 team grade point average. A total of 164 institutions around the nation earned the distinction as a result of a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or better.
Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina were the only other league teams to be cited by the USTFCCCA.
