Jimmy Cheek Statement On NCAA Meeting

The following is a statement from University of Tennessee Knoxville Chancellor Jimmy G. Cheek regarding the University's appearance before the NCAA Committee on Infractions today in Indianapolis:

"We are glad we had the opportunity to present our case. We feel it was a fair hearing, and we look forward to the resolution of this matter."

The University of Tennessee’s student-athletes recorded the best semester in school history in the Fall of 2025 as the student-athlete population recorded a cumulative 3.49 GPA, the highest-mark ever recorded on Rocky Top.
