ATHENS, Ga. -- The first day of the Southeastern Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships is in the books, and the University of Tennessee was unable to get anything going in its lone event on Thursday at Spec Towns Track.
Vol sophomore Drew Thomas competed in the hammer throw, but he was unable to register a fair mark in three attempts.
UT begins day two with the women's hammer throw final at 10 a.m. Friday and has men's and women's finals in the 10,000 meters and preliminaries in the 800m run, 200m dash and 400m hurdles.
