The Series
• The series tie between the Lady Vols and the Lady Bears was broken in today's contest with the Lady Bears taking the 3-2 series lead.
• The Lady Vols have faced 11 of the 12 current members of the Big 12 Conference, with the only exception being Iowa State. UT has a 49-17 record all-time.
For Starters
• Tonight's starters: redshirt senior Vicki Baugh, senior Glory Johnson, senior Shekinna Stricklen, junior Taber Spani and freshman Ariel Massengale.
• This is the third game in which the Lady Vols have taken to the court with this starting five. They now sport a 2-1 record with those five lining up for the opening tip.

When Playing Number One
• Tennessee is 14-29 all-time when playing the nation's number one ranked team. The Lady Vols are 3-10 in Knoxville, an even 6-6 on the road and 5-13 on neutral courts.
• UT is currently ranked number six in the AP poll. Including today's contest, Tennessee is 0-4 when trying to upset No. 1 from that position.

Double Down
• Three Lady Vols put up double-figure scoring efforts against Baylor: Stricklen (25), Baugh (17) and Spani (10).
• Shekinna Stricklen (25 pts, 12 rbs) and Vicki Baugh (17 pts, 10 rbs) each tallied double-doubles, marking the first time Tennessee has had a pair of players reaching double-figures in two categories since Stricklen and Johnson completed the feat against LSU on February 27, 2011.
Stricklen Shows Up, Shows Off
• Senior All-American and SEC Preseason Player of the Year Shekinna Stricklen put up 19 points and seven boards in the first half against Baylor.
• Her game totals of 25 points and 12 rebounds gave her a second-consecutive double-double performance; she put up 16 points and 14 boards against Virginia last week.
• Her 25 points fell one shy of her career high. She scored 26 against Arkansas last season (1/30/11).
• Sticklen is averaging 17.3 points and 9.5 rebounds per outing.
Baugh on the Boards
• Redshirt senior Vicki Baugh put up season-high numbers for points and rebounds against Baylor with 17 and 10, respectively. She hit her first career three-pointer in the contest.
• Her previous highs of eight points and seven boards came against Pepperdine in the season opener.
• With the double-digit efforts, Baugh posted her fourth career double-double.
• The performance against Baylor was her first double-double since a 12-point, 15-rebound effort at Gonzaga (Dec. 30, 2008).

• Tennessee has managed to outrebound Baylor in four of the five all-time meetings, collecting a 55 to 42 advantage in Sunday's contest.
• In 2004, Baylor grabbed one more board than UT, 38-37.
• The Lady Vols have outrebounded three of their four opponents this season, including a 54-34 margin in the season opener against Pepperdine.
