Prono Finishes Day 1 at Pan Am Games

Sophomore Renato Prono swam in his first career event at the Pan American Games on Sunday at Scotiabank Aquatics in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Prono, who is representing his home country of Paraguay this week, finished fifth in the second heat of the 100-meter breaststroke in a time of 1 minute, 5.72 seconds. He did not qualify for the finals.
Prono now has a day off competition before returning to the pool for the 200 breaststroke on Tuesday.
