Chanelle Price, 18, of Easton, Pennsylvania, the 2008 Gatorade National Female Athlete of the Year in high school, is now a freshman at the University of Tennessee and was part of all three Lady Vol victorious quartets at the Penn Relays in April - a world record 4x1500 (17:08.34), an American and collegiate record 4x800 (8:17.91), and a winning Distance Medley Relay (11:02.11). She had also been part of Tennessee's world record NCAA Indoor champion Distance Medley Relay (10:50.98). Price's personal best for 800 meters is 2:01.61. She made the USA Track & Field Championships final in 2007 at age 16 and finished seventh. She was a two-time Nike Outdoor Nationals titleist in the 800 and a three-time Pennsylvania state champion. Price is coached by J.J. Clark.
