English starlet Charlie Ford finished his Qualifying School experience in Girona, Spain, by earning a European Challenge Card for 2010.
Ford started fast in the six-day event but couldn't hold on to unlimited European PGA membership. He will, however, receive invitations to between five and six tournaments during the upcoming season, with the ability to qualify for additonal play.
Leicester lad Ford, who recently returned from the States, where he studied and played collegiately at the University of Tennessee (2005-08), only joined the professional ranks with a handicap of plus four at the start of 2009.
The 24-year-old won the 2008 Turtle Bay Intercollegiate in Hawaii for the Vols and also was a member of last year's Palmer Cup team.
