Seven Lady Vols named USTFCCA All-American

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Seven Lady Vols achieved United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-America status during the recently completed outdoor track & field season, the organization has announced.
The Lady Vols, who tied for 13th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Des Moines, Iowa, June 11-14, got All-America performances from junior Sarah Bowman (Warrenton, Va.) in the 1500m (3rd), junior Celriece Law (Denver, Colo.) in the 100m hurdles (7th), sophomore Lynne Layne (New Rochelle, N.Y.) in the 100m (9th) and 4x100m relay (5th), senior LaTonya Loche (Bastrop, La.) in the 4x100m relay (5th), Jeneba Tarmoh (San Jose, Calif.) in the 100m (10th) and 4x100m relay (5th), senior Cleo Tyson (Huntsville, Texas) in the 4x100m relay (5th) and sophomore Phoebe Wright (Signal Mountain, Tenn.) in the 800m (6th).
Tyson ended her career with 13 All-America citations, while Loche closed out her UT stay with 12 honors. Bowman raised her total to six, while Law and Layne now have four, and Tarmoh and Wright have three each.????????
