Pat Summitt
Tennessee women's basketball coach(What you won't find on Facebook ... even if you are approved as a friend)
Born: June 14, 1952, in Henriette, Tenn.
Status: Single
Alma mater: B.S., UT Martin; M.S., Tennessee
What's on TV: Nancy Grace. I love Nancy Grace.
What's in my iPod: I don't listen to a lot of music.
What I drive: A Mercedes 500
Favorite flick: Gone With The Wind
What I'm reading: I just finished The Last Lecture. One thing I need to do is make more time to read. I love John Maxwell's books.
Bookmarks: I'm not an Internet person.
Superstition: I pick up heads-up pennies, and I wear those in my shoes during the postseason. And four-leaf clovers. The last two championships, I've worn them in my shoes.
Worst habit: Staying up too late. I used to go to bed a lot earlier. And there are times I wait to the last minute. Not so much in my work, but I'll come home and I'll do other things and won't start cooking and we'll eat at 9 o'clock.
Love to trade places for a day with ... Maybe Hillary Clinton, because I think she's an incredibly smart woman ... her leadership skills, just her knowledge. Probably rather than trade places with her, I'd just like to spend the day with her.
Favorite dish: Salmon--I eat that probably three times a week. I love it.
Favorite athlete to watch in another sport: I always liked watching Michael Jordan. He was just incredibly committed to his game, so fit. He was just a tremendous example of if you train, if you commit, if you develop your skills and are a good teammate--look what happens.
Favorite city to visit: New York. I like to shop there. I like to go to Saks. I've got a lady that shops for me there, sends me clothes. I like to go once or twice a year and spend a few hours with her.
Favorite team as a kid: It was watching my brother play basketball. He was a great high school player growing up, at Clarksville High School, and he played in college at Austin Peay.
Attribute I like best about myself: I like the fact I have the discipline to work out five days a week. I'm proud that I've kept my body in shape for my age.
My hero: My mom. She raised five kids, dropped out of school in the ninth grade, and she's the smartest woman I've ever known.
My bucket list: Going to Africa. That's one place I haven't been. I'd love to start in Capetown and then go see everything.
My motto: In my profession, it's never to let anyone outwork me.
