Rising senior and co-captain Michael Wolfe earned 2007 CoSIDA Second-Team Academic All-District honors for his diligent work in the classroom and the pool.
Majoring in mechanical engineering, the backstroker posted an impressive 3.70 GPA for the 2006-07 school year and boasts a 3.81 cumulative GPA. In addition, he accumulated All-America honors with his 10th-place 800 freestyle relay finish and 11th-place 200 backstroke finish at the 2007 NCAA Championships in Minneapolis, Minn.
During the 2007 SEC Championships, he placed fourth in the 100 backstroke, third on the 400 medley relay and fifth on the 800 freestyle relay. The Bartlesville, Okla., native also earned SEC and Thorton Center Academic Honor Rolls for the past two seasons.
