No. 8 UT Adds Seven for 2008-09 Season

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. ??? Tennessee Head Swimming Coach Matt Kredich announced the signing of seven swimmers to National Letters of Intent for the 2008-09 season yesterday. Abbie Alton, Lindsey Brackens, Jenny Connolly, Maddie Garrett, Samara Gelb, Caitlin Perks and Tori Richmond have all decided to attend the University of Tennessee next fall.
???I am impressed with the depth, quality and versatility of this class,??? Kredich said. ???First of all, every swimming event is represented very well in this class on a level that will be competitive in the Southeastern Conference and nationally. Second, the level of commitment to Tennessee is overwhelming. They all love the team, the school and the ideals that we promote as Lady Vols. Finally, they each come from an outstanding club background and have had years of excellent coaching.???
