The 11th-ranked Tennessee men's swimming and diving team hosts the sixth-ranked Florida Gators Saturday in the Student Aquatic Center.
"Florida has an incredible men's team," UT head coach John Trembley said. "According to (UF head coach) Greg Troy, this is the strongest men's team in the history of Florida swimming and diving. Coach Troy and I go back a long way with a great mutual respect for each other."
The Gators (8-3, 4-1) have only lost to top-ranked Auburn in a tight battle, along with third-ranked California and seventh-ranked Texas both on the road in Austin, Texas.
"It will be great to race the greatest Florida Gator team in history, not only in dual-meet action Saturday but also at the SEC championships, NCAA championships and forever more," Trembley added. "We are not as healthy as we have been and will not have a full line-up, but the Volunteers that do compete will be pretty tough."
The meet begins at noon with results following on www.utsports.com
