McCALLEY NAMED TO SEC GOOD WORKS TEAM

BIRMINGHAM, ALA. -- University of Tennessee senior diver Lauryn McCalley has been named to the Southeastern Conference Swimming and Diving Good Works Team it was announced Tuesday by the Southeastern Conference.
McCalley has spent many hours volunteering her time for several causes in the city of Knoxville. She assisted in the Holiday Dinner, which provides meals for local needy and homeless families and individuals. The senior microbiology major also participated in the Race for the Cure and the second Harvest Food Bank canned food drive. The Moultrie, Ga., native has also been a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
The SEC sponsors Good Works Teams in all 20 sports. The Good Works Team looks to highlight athletes from each school who give back to their community in superior service efforts.
