LADY VOL DIVERS WRAP UP DAY TWO AT BULLDOG INVITE

ATHENS, Ga. - The Lady Volunteer diving team wrapped up day two of the Bulldog Invitational on Saturday evening. Sophomore Lauren LeRoy led the way by securing ninth place in the three-meter diving competition.

In the finals, LeRoy, from Oshkosh, Wis., tallied a total of 251.65 points to pick up the top-10 showing. Teammate and fellow classmate Vicky Linnell (Prospect, South Australia) snared 12th place after recording a score of 227.85.

During preliminary action, LeRoy (250.30) and Linnell (234.45) claimed ninth and 12th, respectively. Junior captain Brittany Fulmer (Maryville, Tenn.) finished 15th with a readout of 205.50, while freshman Staley McCartney (Knoxville, Tenn.) brought home 19th on the strength of 168.70 points.

The invitational concludes on Sunday with the platform diving event. There will only be one round of action. Live results may be found by visiting www.georgiadogs.com.
