The No. 11 Tennessee men's swimming and diving team is set to travel into enemy waters Friday at Noon when the Vols face No. 13 Indiana at the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center in Bloomington, Ind.
The Vols hold a 1-0 series lead after defeating the Hoosiers last season in Knoxville 141-93.
"The Indiana program is one of the most traditional in America and is showing great progress," UT head coach John Trembley said. "We are looking forward to competing in an outstanding facility and having a competitive start to the 2005 year."
Indiana is coming into the new year after a strong fall campaign where they finished 7-2 against a strong dual-meet schedule with its only losses coming to Big 12 power Texas and traditional rival Kentucky.
"January is significant in that we are six weeks away from the SEC championship," Trembley added. " (January) is a measure of what we need to do in preparation for the SECs and how we may stack up nationally, as Indiana is having an outstanding season thus far."
