Aqua Vols Release 2004-05 Schedule

Head coach John Trembley announced the 2004-05 Tennessee swimming and diving schedule. An always-tough slate is in place as the Aqua Vols try to equal or better last season's No. 8 national finish.
The home schedule includes SEC rivals Kentucky and Georgia, while LSU will also be competing against the Volunteers with ACC power Virginia in a double dual-meet Jan. 15. North Carolina State rounds out the home schedule Feb. 5.
"The 2004-05 season will see the Vols attack another challenging schedule," UT head coach John Trembley said. "We look forward to our dual-meets and conference championship, but the real focus of our program is the NCAA championship and international competition."
The season opens with a dual-meet against Georgia Tech at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center in Atlanta Oct. 21. This will be the first time the two squads have met since 1959.
