SEC TABS 36 LADY VOLS TO SPRING ACADEMIC HONOR ROLL

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.
The Southeastern Conference named 36 Lady Volunteers to the 2004 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll released on Tuesday by Commissioner Mike Slive. Track & Field paced UT by boasting 13 student-athletes so honored, while rowing earned 11 berths. Tennis garnered five spots, while golf and softball each took four spots. Overall, a total of 791 student-athletes were named to the honor roll.
Mississippi State topped the list with 93 student-athletes on the spring academic roster, while Georgia was next with 84 honorees. Florida and South Carolina were close behind with 83 spring student-athletes honored.
The 2004 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2003 summer, 2003 fall and 2004 spring terms.
