J.J. CLARK ANNOUNCES REVISED SCHEDULE FOR CALIFORNIA TRIP

WALNUT, Calif. - There are some changes in the University of Tennessee's schedule at the Mt. SAC Relays, and the Lady Vol sprint corps will add another meet to its agenda in California this weekend, UT Head Coach J.J. Clark announced Friday.

In addition to competing at the 46th-annual Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut on Saturday and Sunday, the Big Orange sprinters will begin the trip at the Springco-Long Beach Invitational on the campus of Long Beach State. On Saturday, freshman Tianna Madison (Elyria, Ohio), junior Toyin Olupona (Orillia, Ontario, Canada) and junior Dee Dee Trotter (Decatur, Ga.) will begin the weekend of competition by running the 100-meter dash at 3:45 p.m. Eastern time. Olupona is also slated to run in the 200 meters at 5:35 p.m. ET.

After those races, a quick trip inland to Walnut will be in the offing, as Madison is scheduled to participate in the long jump at 9:30 p.m. ET. The middle distance corps is also ready for duty on Saturday, as senior Kameisha Bennett (Dayton, Ohio), junior Nicole Cook (Petersburg, Va.) and redshirt freshman Mindy Sullivan (Lubbock, Texas) are entered in the Open division of the 800 meters, and senior Lindsay Hyatt (Auburn, Calif.) and sophomore Brooke Novak (Kaukauna, Wis.) are registered for the Open section of the1500 meters.

The sprinters will cap things off on Sunday at Mt. SAC with Madison and Olupona lining up for the Open 100 meters at 2:30 p.m. ET, Madison, Olupona and Trotter taking part in the Open 200 meters at 4:40 p.m. ET and Trotter hitting the blocks for the Olympic Development 100 meters at 6:40 p.m. ET.
