WELLS CLOSES OUT LADY VOL CAREER AT ZONE CHAMPIONSHIPS

ATHENS, Ga.
Senior Kylee Wells (Russiaville, Ind.) closed out her Lady Vol career at the NCAA Zone B Championships in Athens, Ga., at the Gabrielsen Natatorium on Sunday by finishing in ninth place on the platform with a 355.20 string of dives. The performance was not enough to join teammate Lauryn McCalley (Moultrie, Ga.), who earlier claimed the three-meter title and qualified for both the one-meter and three-meter events at NCAAs.
Next up, McCalley will join freshman Tiffany Clay (Mason, Ohio), sophomore Jacque Fessel (Cincinnati, Ohio), senior Taryn Ternent (Edenvale, South Africa) and freshman Megan Tomes (Cincinnati, Ohio) at the NCAA Championships hosted by Texas A&M in College Station, Texas, over March 18-20.
