FORMER LADY VOL PAM HANSON COMPETES AT SENIOR NATIONALS

COLLEGE PARK, Md.
Former University of Tennessee swimmer Pam Hanson notched a trio of lifetime-best marks at the ConocoPhillips National Swimming Championships in College Park, Md. Hanson took sixth place with a 1:02.86 in the 100m backstroke, while also finishing in eighth in the 200m backstroke with a 2:18.10 clocking. The LaCrosse, Wis., native also picked up a 19th-place 1:01.82 in the 100m butterfly.
Hanson currently calls Rocky Top her home as she trains for the upcoming 2004 Olympic Trials in Long Beach, Calif.
