FIVE LADY VOLS TABBED TO CSCAA ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICA TEAM

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.
University of Tennessee swimmers and divers Noelle Bassi (Franklin Lakes, N.J.), Jacque Fessel (Cincinnati, Ohio), Lauryn McCalley (Moultrie, Ga.), Jaime Sanger (Plymouth, Minn.) and Kylee Wells (Russiaville, Ind.) were honored by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) by inclusion on the CSCAA Academic All-America Team. To achieve such recognition, each member must acquire more than a 3.5 GPA and participate in the NCAA Championships. The five spots marks the most Lady Vols penciled onto the team roster.
The Southeastern Conference was well represented on the squad with 24 of the 75 positions taken by SEC swimmers and divers. Southern Methodist University led the nation with nine Academic All-Americans, while Florida paced the SEC contingent with eight.
