Tennessee's 11th-ranked men's swimming and diving team plays host to the ninth-ranked Virginia Cavaliers Tuesday at the UT Student Aquatic Center. Tennessee has faced Virginia five times and holds a 4-1 overall record against the Cavaliers.
"This is going to be an extremely competitive meet," head coach John Trembley said. "At last year's NCAA Championships they finished ahead of us in every event."
The Vols are coming off a sweep of Penn State and South Carolina in Columbia, S.C. Tennessee defeated the Gamecocks 141-93, and downed the Nittany Lions 140-95 to improve their overall record to 4-0.
"We will be heavily tested in the meet," Trembley said. "This is a great rivalry and it is going to be fun."
The meet starts at 2 p.m. in the UT Student Aquatic Center and admission is free.
