Hanson's time of 2:16.81 was one of four national championship-qualifying marks she established at the competition. The 2001 Rocky Top grad also marked national-qualifying times in placing third in the 100m back (1:04.45), ninth in the 200m IM (2:20.35) and 17th in the 100m fly (1:02.34).
Tennessee's Nicole Brannock recorded top-10 finishes in both breaststroke events at the meet. The senior-to-be grabbed sixth in the 100m breast with a time of 2:41.53 and 10th in the 200m breast in 1:14.95.
Noelle Bassi, who signed a National Letter of Intent to swim for head coach Dan Colella and the Lady Vols beginning this fall, had qualified to compete in five events. Bassi's best result came in the 200m fly where she clocked a 2:15.01 to earn a spot in the National Championships and qualify for the next Olympic trials.
