LADY VOLS KICK OFF SEASON WITH ORANGE VS. WHITE EXHIBITION

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.
The University of Tennessee women's swimming and diving team will kick off its season with the Orange versus White intrasquad exhibition at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Student Aquatic Center.
For the meet, the coaching staff has divided the Lady Vols into two teams, the Orange squad and the White squad. These two groups will square off for bragging rights in a competition that will mirror that of an actual regular-season dual meet.
"After six weeks of training, it will be nice to see where we are at," UT Head Coach Dan Colella said. "We have so many versatile athletes, this will help us see in which events our athletes compete best. The event also provides us the opportunity to spend time preparing for a meet that has the same format as an actual dual meet."
The Lady Vol swimming and diving team opens its regular season when it hosts SEC rival Kentucky at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at the Student Aquatic Center.
