KNOXVILLE -- The fourth-ranked University of Tennessee men's swimming and diving team hosts 14th ranked Florida Saturday, Feb. 2, at the UT Student Aquatic Center at 1 p.m. Saturday's meet marks the last home swim for seniors Justin Hoggatt, Jeremy McDonnell, Matt Parrish, Chris Stewart and Brett Tannhauser. "All these seniors will be swimming with a lot of emotion," head coach John Trembley said. Other Vols to look for are Andrew Bree and Renato Gueraldi. Both swimmers are coming off winning performances against Georgia. Bree won the 200 I.M. with a time of 1:49.45 and Gueraldi took the 50 free in a time of 20.20. Freshman diver Phillip Jones is also one to watch. Jones won both the one-meter and three-meter diving events against the Bulldogs. "This meet is projected to be very close," Trembley said. "Florida is our biggest traditional rival and if we want to win we are going to have to step up and race hard all day long." This will be the 28th meeting between the Vols and Gators, with UT holding a 17-10 series lead. The meet will be televised by Comcast Sports Southeast on a delayed basis airing Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 3:30 p.m. and Thursday, Feb. 7, at 9 p.m.
