The Thornton Athletics Center contains a number of smaller
individual tutor areas for more individual attention. The tutorial
assistance program is the backbone of our educational enhancement
efforts at the Thornton Center.

The University of Tennessee’s student-athletes recorded the best semester in school history in the Fall of 2025 as the student-athlete population recorded a cumulative 3.49 GPA, the highest-mark ever recorded on Rocky Top.

Tennessee Athletics will host its fourth annual Champions Weekend, presented by Pilot, in conjunction with the home football game against Arkansas on Oct. 11. Teams and individuals who won SEC and/or NCAA championships during specific years will be invited back to Rocky Top to celebrate their achievements.
