Lady Vol Divers Open Competition At Indiana Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The University of Tennessee women's diving team opened competition at the Indiana University Invitational on Friday. The Lady Vols began the three-day meet with the three-meter diving.
Sophomore Jaime Sanger finished sixth overall on the 3m with a score of 444.20 for 11 dives. Senior Lizzy Flynt took ninth with a score of 420.45 while freshman Kylee Wells, a native of Russiaville, Ind., returned to her home state and finished 10th with a mark of 416.70. The overall winner was Katie Beth Bryant of Miami with a score of 495.10.
Competition continues at the IU Invitational on Saturday with the women's 1m while the platform diving will be contested on Sunday.
