Tennessee 10th After First Two Rounds Of Lady Paladin

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The University of Tennessee Lady Vol golf team dropped to 10th place after the second round of the Lady Paladin Invitational on Saturday in Greenville, S.C. UT totals 630 after the first two rounds of the 54-hole tournament at the Furman University Golf Course, and the team will begin play in its final round of the fall tomorrow.
Lady Vol sophomore Tina Schneeberger holds onto the top slot on the team. She is currently in 14th place after rounds of 75 and 78 on the par 72, 5,902-yard layout. The individual lead is being shared by four players at one-over: Kristin Dufour (Texas), Celeste Troche (Auburn), Shauna Estes (Georgia) and Pam Buff (Tulane).
Wake Forest (600) continues to stand on top of the team leaderboard with a second round 305, finishing the day six strokes ahead of Texas (606). South Carolina and Auburn share third with two-day totals of 615.
Rounding out the Lady Vol lineup are senior Stacey Bergman in a tie for 29th at 157, sophomore Young-A Yang in a tie for 36th at 159, freshman Rosanna Zernatto at 162 for a share of 57th and sophomore Carrie Cole at 167 for 86th.
Tournament play will conclude on Sunday with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. The final 18 holes will wrap up the 1999 portion of the Lady Vols' schedule.
