2016-17 - SOPHOMORE (VINCENNES UNIVERSITY)
- Earned his associate degree from Vincennes University in the spring of 2017; he was coached at Vincennes by Todd Franklin.
- As a sophomore in 2016-17, Darrington earned first-team NJCAA Division I All-America honors and helped Vincennes to a 32-3 record and a District XVI championship.
- Led the Trailblazers in points (20.7) and assists (5.1) while also boasting a 2.2 assist-to-turnover ratio and shooting .431 from 3-point range (he shot .250 from beyond the arc as a freshman the previous year).
- Attempted 245 free throws--third-most in NJCAA--and shot .804 at the foul line.
- Was the only player in NJCAA to average more than 20.0 ppg while also appearing in 35 or more games in 2016-17.
- Logged 17 games of 20-plus points, including a career-best 45 in a road win at Indian Hills in early December.
- Scored 30 or more points in eight games in 2016-17, highlighted by a stretch of three consecutive 30-point outings in mid-February and a 33-point showing--featuring seven made 3-pointers--in Vincennes' victory over Northern Oklahoma Enid in its opening game of the NJCAA Tournament.

- Appeared in 31 games with 15 starts and averaged 11.7 points (second on the team) while shooting .492 from the field and a team-best .878 from the free-throw line (115-131).
- His 4.4 assists per game led the team, and he owned a 1.80 assist/turnover ratio as Vincennes went 26-8 (16-4).
HIGH SCHOOL
- A four-year letterwinner at Scott High School in Toledo, Darrington was named Ohio's Mr. Basketball, District Player of the Year and first-team All-Ohio as a senior in 2014-15.
- He averaged 23.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 4.0 steals per game that season, leading the Bulldogs to their first City League title since 2006 and dropping 38 points in the championship game.
