SEC Men's Basketball Game Times/Networks Announced
September 13, 2017 | Men's Basketball
Birmingham, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference released the television networks and start times for the 2017-18 men's basketball schedule Wednesday.
The Vols have six games on their conference slate that will be aired on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU, including home matchups against Auburn, Florida, South Carolina and Vanderbilt.
Of Tennessee's nine SEC home games, six contests tip off at 7 p.m. ET or earlier.
All 18 conference games can be viewed on television nationwide as well as streamed live online worldwide.
Start times and television assignments for SEC games on Saturday, Dec. 30, will be made once the bowl schedule is set on that date in an effort to avoid any head-to-head matchups between a school's football and basketball teams.
The SEC's games on ESPN platforms are exclusively branded as the "SEC on ESPN." All of the games included in the ESPN package (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and SEC Network) will also be available through the ESPN app, which is accessible on computers, smartphones, tablets and connected devices to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.
The SEC Network will televise the first three days of the SEC Tournament (March 7-11) from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo. The semifinals and championship game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.
