Tennessee Heads to Last Chance Meet

ATHENS, Ga. - Several Lady Vols will participate in the Bulldog Invitational in Athens, Ga., this weekend with hopes to qualify for or improve upon their positions at the NCAA Championships. There will be no team scoring at the Bulldog Invitational, which is known as a last chance meet. Preliminaries will begin at 10 a.m. with finals starting at 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Those who have already automatically qualified to represent Tennessee at the NCAA Championship meet are Aleksa Akerfelds, Morgan Farrell, Michele King, Christine Magnuson, Carly Mathes, Martina Moravcikova, Brittany Nauta and Tricia Weaner. Several Lady Vols have NCAA ???B??? cuts including Bryttany Curran, Katie Gehring, Sarah McCall, Ashley Quinn, Jamie Saffer and Danyelle Vincent,

The Zone Diving Championship will take place from March 14-16, while the NCAA National Championship meet will be held in Columbus, Ohio, March 20-22.
