Track and Field Splits For Weekend Action

Tennessee's 18th-ranked track and field squad will split for weekend indoor meets in Johnson City and Madison, Wis. The Volunteers will send the sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers (with the exception of the pole vaulters) and throwers to the Wisconsin Invitational where top athletes from Illinois, Illinois State, Iowa, Tennessee, Texas Tech and host Wisconsin will compete on Saturday. Tennessee's decathletes, distance corps and pole vaulters will compete in the Sprint Invitational at ETSU in Johnson City on Friday and Saturday. Results will be released to media outlets late Friday and Saturday nights.
