Softball Set to Play 11 Nationally Televised Games

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Tennessee softball program will have 11 games featured on national television during the 2018 season according to the broadcast schedule released by the Southeastern Conference.

The network's All-Softball Weekend will feature all 13 SEC teams during the last weekend of the conference play with the Bases Loaded coverage, which will bounce around to show live portions from all seven games featuring SEC teams on Friday, May 4.

Five of the Lady Vols'Â 11 televised games will be home contests at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium. Five of Tennessee's televised games will be shown on the SEC Network, including matchups with Georgia (March 31-April 2), Alabama (April 23) and Mississippi State (May 4). The Big Orange will also be featured on ESPN2 in matchups with South Carolina (Match 24), Auburn (April 7), LSU (April 14) and Alabama (April 22).

Tennessee will also have two games televised on ESPNU in contests against Auburn (April 6) and LSU (April 13).

On top of the regular-season games being televised, the entire SEC Tournament (May 9-12) will also be shown live on the SEC Network or ESPN platforms. All first round and quarterfinal games will be broadcasted on the SEC Network while the two semifinal games will air on ESPNU and the championship game will be featured on ESPN.
